(Sage Publishing, 2025) Amirli, Hamran; Fettahlioğlu, Ömer Okan; Gül, Necmettin; Tatli, Hasan Sadik
The research is conducted with employees in the textile sector operating in Kahramanmarasx/T€urkiye. The study aims to examine the effect of inclusive leadership on employees’ innovative work behavior, as well as the mediating roles of trust in leader and psychological empowerment in this interaction. This cross-sectional study collected data from 275 employees in the textile industry of Kahramanmarasx/T€urkiye. The data were analyzed by the structural equation modeling (SEM) method using SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the analysis revealed that inclusive leadership has a direct positive effect on IWB. In addition, it was determined that inclusive leadership increases psychological empowerment and trust in leader. While psychological empowerment was found to have a significant mediating role in the relationship between inclusive leadership and innovative work behavior, the mediating role of trust in leader was not supported. The findings suggest that focusing on psychological empowerment in inclusive leadership practices is effective in increasing IWB. The limited effect of trust in leader on innovative work behavior indicates the complexity of leadership and employee interactions. Theoretical and practical implications and recommendations are presented at the end of the study.

(2023) Baş, Dilşat; Talak, Şengül Sangu; Ozman, Nur Ecem Baydı; Kitay, Deniz Nadide; Çatırtan, Hazal; Binöz, Ayşe Sena; Öngen, Nilay; Onganer, Efe; Baş, Murat
Background/Objectives: This study explores how gastrointestinal symptoms affect patients’ nutrition, food choices, consumption, and gastrointestinal quality of life index (GIQLI) scores after recovering from COVID-19. Subjects/Methods: A questionnaire-based cross-sectional study was conducted among patients aged 18 and older who recovered from COVID-19 between 15th May 2020 and 15th June 2020. The researchers sent 594 patients a questionnaire via e-mail, which included demographical information and questions related to supplement use, food choices, and a survey for GIQLI. Seventy-six patients who responded and consented to take the questionnaire were included in the final analysis. Results: Weight loss post-COVID was significant for both male and female genders (-5.1± 4.0 vs. -1.5 ± 2.4; p-value:0.001). The length of hospitalization, the loss of appetite, and the loss of smell were significantly higher in male participants (P<0,05). The mean GIQLI score was significantly higher in males compared to females (102.2± 14.6 vs. 89.5 ± 23.2; p=0.003). Gender and regular probiotic use before and after hospitalization were correlated with the total GIQLI score (R = 0.646; R2 = 0.417) Conclusion: COVID-19 affects the Gastrointestinal system (GIS) and appetite. Therefore, healthy nutrition, well adapted to the body’s needs and the current level of physical activity, becomes particularly important during and post-COVID. In addition, the treatment of gut dysbiosis involving an adequate intake of pre and probiotics could be a beneficial instrument for modulating the immune system in COVID-19 patients and prophylactically pre-infection. Therefore, we recommend integrating probiotic use into current COVID-19 nutritional guidelines.
Linking Human Capital to Innovation Capability: A Dynamic Capabilities Perspective
(2024) Tatlı, Hasan Sadık
The research examines the mediating role of dynamic capabilities in the effect of human capital on innovation capability. The research was conducted with white-collar employees in a logistics company based in Istanbul. A simple random sampling technique was used to determine the sample. The research sample is 238 employees working in the same company for at least three years. Mediation models were used to analyse the data. The data analysis determined that employee capital significantly increases the company's dynamic and innovation capabilities. In addition, the company's dynamic capabilities mediate in forming the innovation capability of employee capital. The hypotheses created within the scope of the research were supported. Human capital companies' dynamic capabilities effectively form the company's dynamic capabilities and subsequently obtain innovation capabilities. The research contributes to the literature by associating employee capital, innovation capability, and dynamic capabilities in the logistics sector.

The study aims to determine the sequential mediating role of organizational support and job stress in the effect of organizational culture on the intention to leave. The sample of this study consists of white-collar professionals working in the banking and finance sector in Istanbul. The convenience sampling method was preferred in the data collection process. Within the scope of the study, data was collected from a total of 441 participants. SPSS 27 package program and SPSS Process macro V4.2 were used to analyze the data. According to the research findings, it was determined that organizational culture increases the perceived organizational support perception of employees. In addition, organizational culture reduces the job stress and leave intentions of employees in the banking and finance sector. It was determined that perceived organizational support reduces the stress of employees. On the other hand, perceived organizational support significantly reduces employees' leave intentions, while job stress increases them. According to the mediation analysis findings, increasing perceived organizational support in organizational culture reduces job stress and decreases employees' intention to leave. In summary, managerial support and job stress mediate the effect of organizational culture on leave. The study presents important findings about the buffering hypothesis.
