E-Commerce Logistics in the Grip of Digital Transformation: A Review of the Literature from the Perspective of Technology Management
(2026) Gerekli, İsa; Ayaz, Esra
Changes and developments in the global order have brought about a significant differentiation in companies' sales strategies and consumers' purchasing behavior. This differentiation has also increased the strategic importance of e-commerce logistics and technology management. The limited number of bibliometric studies that address e-commerce logistics and technology management together forms the starting point of this study. Although numerous studies have examined e-commerce, logistics, and technology separately, bibliometric studies that address e-commerce logistics and technology management together remain limited in the literature. This study aims to fill this gap by providing a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of academic publications produced in this field. To this end, a detailed search was conducted in the Web of Science database on December 31, 2025. The keywords selected for searching the database were “e-commerce logistics”, “technology management”, “technology”, and “logistics”. The selected keywords were searched in the database with a limitation applied to all fields. As a result of the search, data from 824 studies published between 2015 and 2025 were obtained. After detailed examination, the obtained data were transferred to the Vosviewer bibliographic analysis program and various analyses were performed. In this study, network mapping, co-authorship analysis, country citation analysis, country citation matching, keyword analysis, and bibliographic matching analysis of texts were performed on the concepts of e-commerce logistics and technology management. The findings reveal that publication output in the field showed a significant upward trend, particularly after 2021, reaching its peak in 2025 with 125 publications. China emerged as the most productive and influential country in terms of both publication volume and citation impact, while the most frequently used keywords were "e-commerce," "logistics," "cross-border e-commerce," and "sustainability." This study contributes to the literature by mapping the intellectual framework, thematic evolution, and global research trends in the fields of e-commerce logistics and technology management. Furthermore, it offers a guiding conceptual and analytical framework for future researchers who wish to investigate developments emerging in this interdisciplinary field.

SPILLOVER EFFECTS OF US MONETARY POLICY ON INFLATION RATE AND FX VOLATILITY IN TURKEY: A VECM ANALYSIS
(2026) Küçükgöde, Haydar Anıl; Çakır, Muhammet Sait
We aim to examine the effectiveness of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s (CBRT) monetary policy tools in reducing inflation and exchange rate volatility, given the spillovers emanating from the Federal Reserve’s (FED) policies between 2010 and 2022. Relying upon the vector error correction model methodology proposed by Johansen (1995), we found that the inflation rate, one of the main indicators of internal equilibrium conditions, is affected more strongly by global liquidity conditions than by the CBRT’s policies. Moreover, the evidence suggests that the long-term US interest rate proves to be the most disturbing factor to the exchange rate volatility in Turkey. More particularly, we show that the destabilizing effects of increases in the long-term US rates are stronger than the ability of the CBRT’s contractionary policies to fix internal and external disequilibria, which is evident in the erosion in the CBRT’s credibility. Given the devastatingly high economic and social costs associated with these rate hikes, the CBRT may instead turn to ways for enhancing the effectiveness of its policy tools by abandoning its unconventional policies. In this regard, it may start with restoring its highly damaged credibility and introducing some regulations restricting the free capital mobility.

Kings of the milky way: a homogeneous Gaia DR3 analysis of king open clusters and the galactic disc metallicity gradient
(2026) Yontan, Talar; Bilir, Selçuk; Çakmak, Hikmet; Plevne, Olcay; Soyduğan, Esin; Taşdemir, Seval; Canbay, Remziye; Çınar, Deniz Cennet; Koç, Seliz; Karagöz, Hülya; Öztürk, Burçin Tanık; Akbaba, Furkan; Çalışkan, Özcan; Banks, Timothy
This study aims to establish an internally homogeneous set of structural, astrophysical, and kinematical parameters for King open clusters and to assess their role as tracers of the Galactic thin disc. We present a homogeneous structural, astrophysical, and kinematical analysis of 27 King open clusters using high-precision Gaia DR3 astrometry, photometry, and spectroscopy. Probable members are selected through astrometric criteria, from which mean trigonometric parallaxes and proper motions are derived, while structural parameters are obtained by fitting King surface-density profiles. Cluster reddenings, distances, metallicities, and ages are determined via a homogeneous Markov Chain Monte Carlo isochrone-fitting approach applied to Gaia colour-magnitude diagrams. The derived parameters span (Formula presented) -(Formula presented) mag, metallicities of (Formula presented) to (Formula presented) dex, ages from 17 to 6166 Myr, and heliocentric distances between 739 and 6272 pc. A comparison between astrometric and isochrone-based distances yields a median parallax difference of (Formula presented) as, indicating a good level of internal consistency between the photometric and astrometric distance scales within the adopted homogeneous framework. Using the resulting homogeneous parameter set, we then investigate the spatial distribution and orbital properties of the King clusters within the Galactic disc. The radial metallicity behaviour of the King clusters is also examined using three complementary Galactic distance definitions and compared with the metallicity-radius relations obtained independently from 164 spectroscopically analysed open clusters from the literature. The King-cluster gradients are close to (Formula presented) dex kpc−1 and are broadly consistent with those of the external reference sample, indicating that the homogeneously analysed King clusters follow the negative metallicity-radius trend traced by the broader thin-disc open-cluster population. Flatter gradients are found for young clusters, suggesting more homogeneous chemical enrichment at recent epochs. When dynamical constraints are applied to reduce the effects of radial migration and orbital blurring, the inferred gradient remains close to (Formula presented) dex kpc−1. The use of a strictly homogeneous analysis framework reduces inter-study systematics and provides a consistent astrophysical, chemical, kinematical, and orbital reference dataset for the King open-cluster sample. © 2026 COSPAR. Stress distribution in titanium and zirconia implants with full-arch prostheses: a finite element analysis
(BMC, 2026) Saz, Bahattin; Özyılmaz, Özgün Yusuf; Özyılmaz, Özge Doğanay
Objective The stress distribution and mechanical properties of materials used in dental implants are critically important for implant success and long-term stability. The aim of this study was to evaluate the stress distribution on implant, prosthetic system, and peri-implant tissues when titanium and zirconia implants are used with different framework materials using three-dimensional finite element analysis (FEA). Methods A three-dimensional edentulous maxilla model was reconstructed from computed tomography data, and twelve finite element models were subsequently developed based on this anatomy to represent different implant and framework configurations. Within the scope of the study, titanium and zirconia implants were modeled in combination with cantilevered and noncantilevered prosthesis types and Co-Cr, PEKK, and zirconium framework materials. An oblique static load of 200 N was applied at a 45° angle in the palato-buccal direction to the central fossa of the first molar on the models. The Von Mises and principal stress distributions in the implant, abutment, screw, framework, and peri-implant bone were examined. Results The highest Von Mises value was recorded in the cantilevered PEKK framework zirconia implant model (378.388 MPa). Compared with the Co-Cr and zirconium framework, the PEKK framework resulted in higher Von Mises stresses and greater prosthesis displacement. The presence of a cantilever increased stress levels in all framework materials, and stress concentrations were observed particularly in posterior abutments and peri-implant bone. Furthermore, stress values in trabecular bone were recorded above the physiological threshold level in the cantilevered PEKK framework models. Conclusions Although zirconia implants exhibited greater stress than titanium implants, they remained within safe limits. Rigid framework materials and cantilever-free designs provide more balanced biomechanical results.
